Food for Thought
A hopeless boyfriend is guided through the end of a relationship by a mysterious and deeply confusing sandwich man.
Therapist Mode
The director was concerned about the outcome of this film and if it was worth making, which can be very normal for directors to feel.
Having confidence in myself and his past work helped me provide reassurance that this film was going to turn out stellar.
Comedy Edits
I love a good slow burn which was why this film was a little more challenging. Editing comedy is its own art form that I am still striving to perfect.
Being able to trust the actors to lead the edit has definitely made the process easier, as these three lovely actors know how to play comedy very well!
A Plot B Plot
This film taught me how to navigate two completely different tones and genres within a 5 minute short film.
I prioritize subtlety in each applicable edit, so having to transition between totally different pacing was an amazing challenge I got to experience!
