The 48Hr Film Fest

This was the first Nashville 48 I had done and it was intense.

The pressure to have this film locked by 5am was bizarre, but since I often work overnight on edits and am able to work fast on shorts, it was a fun challenge.

Co-Edit Post

The director and I tackled scenes together that night which made picture lock much easier to manage.

It was the first time I co-edited and divided up scenes with someone else, and I crave to have more experiences like that as editing should be a more collaborative space.

DIT and AE

My jobs as DIT, AE and, Editor were all very crucial to the post process to stay organized and be solely responsible for what happens to the footage.

Being in these positions made the post process simpler and easier due to the fact that I was personally responsible for transferring and handling footage until the project was locked.
